2. Choose and Download the App you wish to broadcast on. If you think MeerKat is for you then download that app. These Apps work directly with Twitter and will notify your contact list (optional) when you go live. So this gives you the ability to create viewer lists.
3. Wireless Mics, Lighting Kits, Tripods, are all very helpful for creating quality broadcasts but not necessary. Good stable platforms will make your life easier and the video sharper when trying to show products. But many people walk around showing tours of their city taking questions from viewers.
4. Viewers will watch live streaming on their mobile device providing the content is interesting and targeted toward your viewer list. Interviews, Funny Content, Special Events are all great ways to watch and return watching you broadcasts.

I got the unigrip on the advice of a fellow liverstreamer friend. I am seriously deficient in my ability to put things together without very exact instructions and played with the 3 simple pieces for days trying to figure it out. I should have just called the selller or my friend because he is a really nce person and would have explained it to me. A friend with a well functioning right hemisphere and spatial skills figured it out in about 25 seconds. Its THAT simple. It is one of the few adapters that securely holds a Samsung Galaxy S5 or larger phone/small tablet. The fit is better without using a case on the phone because that allows the phone to sit further back and get better grip. I have had to remove the cell phone cases with every other phone I’ve streamed with since I tend to pick larger phones (Razr, Droid Bionic) but that is the only a MINOR issue (it would be nce to keep on a protective case just as a precaution but I’ve streamed some pretty wild protests and never had a problem so its not a big deal). Highly recommend!

(I should get 2 more)I have the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and I mostly use the UniGripPro to mount my phone to a tripod while making time lapse movies.Since I’m a DIY kind of guy, so I also use it at my desk and in my car as a general phone holder because I can mount my phone anywhere I want, using a 1/4-20 (1/4″ diameter, 20 threads per inch) screw (The standard tripod screw). This “car dock” and “desk dock” can be used for any phone, so it’s “upgrade proof”.

I purchased this after a review on youtube as an option for the note2. The item is a bit clumsy to get on the phone as the one screw is what holds it together so the top and bottom want to swivel. As wel its not a perfect fit for the very thin phones. The rubber feet have a gap behind them that the phone falls into and will scratch the phone, I will need to modify this some to make it better. Also there is no spring tension so you need to squeeze your phone and clamp it for it to work best a spring load would be better. For 50 bucks it’s a premium over some of the others on the market. There are not any that fit on a unipod or tripod so that’s why I got this one

Stability
Stable shots are best and to get them you will need to use a grip. I only recommend grips that securely attach to a phone and make a secure connection to a tripod or monopod.
Avoid the cheap springy clamps that you often see attached to selfie sticks and go for a solid grip made my Manfrotto, ALM, Shoulderpod, UniGrip Pro.
A good beginner microphone
A more rugged professional mic setup.
Microphones
Sound bites, voice-over narration, and reporter stand ups (Piece to Camera) clips require a professional microphones to sound good enough to broadcast.

Light
When you need to “illuminate your victim” you will want to use a face lamp like the Luxpad22.

Power
A power bank that provides at least 10,000 MaH of recharge power rounds out the list of bare essentials in the field.
Look for a model that provides at least one port labeled 2A or high power. This port is designed for power-hungry iPads and the big screen iPhone 6+.
